Replying to his representation that Mr Tarrant and Private Makon of the 55th Regiment, are unable to perform out door duties of the Land Officers Department and stating that any temporary arrangement by which the former might be employed in the Office would be favorably considered by the Government. 115 22nd Dec. Sir Tom Parker. Forwarding an application from Mr David for ground at the Lymoon Passage, on which he proposes laying down a Patent Slip, and stating that such would be granted, if it be not required by His Excellency for Naval purposes. 116 2nd Dec. A. J. Gordon Esq. Forwarding Sir John Parker's reply to No: 115 and directing Mr Gordon to assign to Mr. Davis a sufficient quantity of ground, near the entrance of the Lymoon Passage, for the purpose of laying down his Patent Slip - Subject however to such conditions as Her Majesty's Government may hereafter impose.
